FAQ

Questions about transmission & drivetrain

It depends on your vehicle. Most manufacturers specify 60,000–100,000 km for automatic transmission fluid. Manual transmissions are usually longer. Some "lifetime fluid" vehicles still benefit from a service at 100,000 km — we'll check what your specific vehicle calls for.
Not always. Sometimes slipping is caused by low fluid from a leak, a stuck solenoid or even worn engine mounts disguising as transmission issues. We diagnose before we recommend any major work — and we'll always give you options.
Yes. Full clutch replacement including pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bearing and flywheel resurfacing or replacement when needed.
Yes — small leaks become big ones, and a transmission that runs low on fluid will damage itself fast. Most leaks are inexpensive to fix when caught early (seal or gasket). Wait too long and you could be looking at a full rebuild.
