Coolant Replacement

Keep your engine cool.

Coolant doesn't just stop your engine from overheating — it stops rust, lubricates the water pump and protects against freezing. Old coolant turns acidic and slowly destroys your radiator, hoses and water pump from the inside. We flush and refill with the right OEM-spec coolant for your engine.

  • Full system flush — not just a drain
  • OEM-spec coolant for every make
  • Hose, clamp & radiator inspection
  • Pressure tested for leaks
COOLANT SERVICE

Our Coolant services

Everything we cover — done right, the first time.

Coolant Flush & Refill

Full system flush removes old fluid, sediment and acidity. Refilled with fresh OEM-spec coolant.

System Pressure Test

Pressurize the cooling system to find leaks you can't see — the surest test there is.

Hose & Clamp Inspection

Soft, swollen or cracked hoses fail without warning. We replace them before they leave you stranded.

Cap & Thermostat

Radiator cap holds pressure that raises boiling point. Thermostat controls engine temp. Both wear out.

Water Pump Inspection

Water pumps weep before they fail. We catch leaks early so you don't overheat on the highway.

OEM-Spec Coolant

Mixing the wrong coolant types causes gel, corrosion and overheating. We use exactly what your engine needs.

FAQ

Questions about coolant

Most modern coolants last 5 years or 100,000 km — but BC's temperature swings can shorten that. Color-test strips can confirm. We'll check it for free anytime.
No. Different colors usually mean different chemistries — and mixing them can cause sludge, blocked passages and overheating. Always use what the manufacturer specifies (we look it up).
Same thing, different name. "Antifreeze" emphasizes winter protection; "coolant" emphasizes the year-round cooling job. They're both the same green/orange/pink fluid.
Old coolant turns acidic and dissolves the metal it's supposed to protect. Brown coolant means corrosion has already started — flush immediately to limit damage to radiator and water pump.
